What should I look for in a wheelchair caster?
The larger the wheel required for the caster, the heavier the weight. Larger wheels better distribute weight and roll over obstacles on the floor. Divide the total weight of the equipment and the maximum load by the number of casters to be utilized to find each caster’s load capacity.
